Great racket but thinking it would do well with a tad more weight. Want to keep the 6 points head light balance but make it about 11.3 oz (up from 10.8 strung). Where is the best place to put the lead tape? How many grams of lead would get me to 11.3? Thanks.

Fourteen grams will do the trick. Half under the grip, half at 3 and 9 O'Clock. How many inches that is depends on what lead tape you're using - it will have a weight-length ratio on the package.

7 grams at 3 and 9 on a 27.5 inch racquet may make it way too sluggish. I would suggest distributing that to the V of the throat and 3 and 9 o'clock.

If I can find a cheap one of these one day, I am gonna chop it down to standard length and add weight using lead and silicone. I bet then it will be a truly great stick.

I have tried it with 4 inches either side at 3 and 9 (16 inches in all) and it worked pretty well. I am thinking of changing to this racket/set up if only I can get the strings right.

Just adding a leather grip and overgrip will bring the weight up to around 11.2 ounces, a smidgen of lead at 3 & 9 should take you where you want to be.

BTW, I meant under the grip, not under the handle. alfa's suggestion is good, but it will not keep the same balance. You will get less swing weight if you do go closer to 6 than 3/9 w/lead tape, but also will lower the sweet spot. Decisions, decisions...

I like a little extra length but thinking 27 1/4 (like the RDX 300) would be perfect for this racket. Is it possible to cut off 1/4 inch from the bottom?
