Do you have a source? If this is true Nadal should thank his lucky stars he is "injured" otherwise he could have been bageled by his daddy Rosol.

Can already tell the difference in the first point. Ball is skidding through.

Tennis at its finest. Not too big servers who have 1 shot points, but really quick tennis with plenty of net rushing and great rallies.

Yeah, well it clearly isn't helping them. Ferrer making light work of the Worm. If the Czechs win it'll be down-to-the-wire stuff.

Source? I can't find any article stating that they will play on the fastest hardcourt, or that it's barely legal or anything. Just that it's a "fast hardcourt".

Doesn't really matter. Ferru still cleaning up, 2 sets to love right now.

Do the Czechs really think the Spaniards just can't play on hard courts at all? Ferru just won Valencia, and that was on a hard court.

Obviously they know the Spaniards can play all surfaces but what can they really do?
U wanted them to pick clay?
The surface is no problem. That Ferrer is favourite against Stepanek was obvious regardless of the surface.Almagro is the guy to be beaten,if the Czechs want any hope in this final.
And doubles can go either way.

So sad watching Stepanek complaining about the balls for second time, just play tennis if you lose you lose.

Yup...they should have given the point to Czech instead of replaying it.Since ALmagro stated it was out but it was actually in.

Watching the matches yesterday, I can confidently confirm, that Nusstard (a.k.a. Mustard) is right.

It is impossible to play on a fast hardcourt with the modern strings and racket technology.

It just takes different skill, which I saw a lot yesterday. A breath of fresh air. Plus, the faster the surface, the more chances for upsets.
