Here's what I don't get: the government searches us at airports, monitors extreme websites, limits purchases of ingedients for bombs like fertilizer, but doesn't question a guy buying an assault rifle and 30,000 rounds of ammo and full body armor out of the blue. Don't you think that should raise some flags...at least worth checking out? Because I do.

I think it's more interesting how people imagine information. Another thread indicated the perpetrator had a documented mental history (he does not) and this one mentions 30,000 rounds of ammo (it was 3000). Well, there's your answer! The government, like the rest of us, makes mistakes.

    Dear Overrated Video Game,

Political/religious soapboxes are not allowed on this forum. Some have made the sick violence of one person into a political/religious issue. Such discussion is not allowed on TT.

His sick violence did not employ a baseball bat so its not merely a case of individual pathology.

To put this thread on what it's true topic should be. . . .

My condolences to the innocent victims, their friends and families.

Funny that no one answerd the question.

Should the gov't look into purchases of macine guns and mass ammo and body gear? Is there a correlation to mass shootings? I dont know, but its worth a thought.
