I just recently was able to find this racquet, in mint condition. I am not very knowledgeable about wood racquets, so does anyone know anything about the Davis Topspin Diagonal Strung racquet? All help and information is appreciated. Thanks.

The TAD Topspin is a well made wood racket and great for display. For play, very few players preferred the diagonal stringing since it made it more difficult to control hits. I do not even think its a topspinning advantage, maybe it should have been called the Sidespin ? I personally find the diagonal stringing hard to get use to. Maybe as a spaghetti strung variant it would even offer a greater degree of uncertainty. I would like to try this idea ...
