First of all Nadal won't be in the final.....

"Still, he thinks he may have figured out the formula to beat Federer.

"Hit ball, make winners," Davydenko said. "Easy.""

I think he'll walk with the win this year - I really do think his odds are good.

    Davydenko winning a Slam?
ANd what if it was over Djoko in the final?

That would be a good match for the purists. Maybe. But, no question it would be a ratings nightmare.

I'm a purist, and I want to see Nadal and Federer. Again. And Again.

I think that Davydendo will beat Federer if he plays like he did against Canas yesterday. He has developed a new extreme cross court angled forehand a la Federer and is a much better player now than ever before.

    I'd rather watch paint dry.

    odds on the remaining players:

    Davydenko, Djokovic 18-1

    Nadal 1-2

    Federer 3-2

has anyone beat Federer & Nadal in the same tournament before? I'm guessing no.

I don't think Davydenko has any chance of beating Fed. I was disappointed that Canas didn't make it to the Semi's as I believe it would have been more entertaining. So Easily, Federer Vs. Nadal in the finals. I do enjoy their matches, but at the same time tennis gets kind of boring when you know who is going to make it to the finals. It's just not as interesting when there is no chance of a major upset.

One new shot hardly will make Davydenko the better player. He still plays only offense and no defense. Canas gave him a perfect opportunity shoot, shoot and shoot again

Davydenko "The Russian Backboard" only plays offense?

    Can we say counterpuncher?
