    Destroyed he did, Nadal.

'Destroyed', a five-sets match with Federer is hardly qualified as.

Get well DelPo and stay well,I don't want to see you like Rafa on and off the tour because of injury.

Similar to Safins 2003 season, except Marat played through it on and off during tournaments but didn't return after the AO to any of the other slams.

I don't think this is career threatening, if it was his knee, then maybe, but this won't hamper his movement, when it heals to 100% again, all he needs is to find his confidence and he should be ok.

I knew Del Potro won't defend his title but not in this fashion. I hope he comes back strong and wins another Major on Hard court or on Clay.

Almost one entire year off it would be. He played with pain every tournament after the us open (played ao injured too). This sucks but maybe he is just being smart and thinking about coming back well (not like... nalbandian who rests five days and wants to come back again just to get injured in the first match).
