Bob how much dou you think it will cost
If this was the case, then he wouldn't be trying out blacked out frames (or even trying out frames) at all.
Ya the juice pro
Um $199( I think, relating to Wilson's current pricing)
Reasonable for a new racquet. Being del potro's new stick hopefully.
Is the juice a flat paint job?
In the UK the retail model is on sale for GBP 144.49.
Juice Pro BLX
Weight (unstrung): 324g
Head size: 96 sq"
Beam width: 24.5mm
Also available are the Juice 100 BLX (W: 304g; H: 100 sq"; B: 26.5mm) and the Juice 108 BLX. There are also the Steam 100 BLX (Kvitova) and Envy BLX under the same paintjob family.
These are new Wilson rackets as featured in catalogues out now. Apologies for the large pic!
All of the pj's are kind of crazy. I myself like the colors on the steam. Pretty sure more pros than kvitova will use the steam or at least the pj
All of the specs look pretty good except the envy is too light. It would be nice to know the swing weight though.
Yes, Wilson sales and marketing staff tell people Kei Nishikori actually switched to the Steam right before Basel...and beat Nole with it! Tremendous! This must be an amazing frame!
Just got confirmation from Wilson that the Juice Pro BLX will be same mold as BLX Pro Tour. See below.
Good morning and thank you for your question. The Juice Pro BLX will use the same original mold as the Pro Tour BLX, however the racquet will be a little longer so the original mold will be extended. Hope this helps!
Wilson Consumer Relations
the new prostaff line racquets will be made available to the public in mid january, according to Brittany from TW. what about the blx 6.1 2012?
Good job Mr. Stormcrow! Thanks
Hi where did you get the catalog? just curious...
The Juice has such a God awful pj
We were able to look at these frames back in Oct and some people will be very happy with the new models. The colors look at lot better in person than in the pics and I think someone mentioned earlier that the Juice is based on the Argentinian flag for DelPo. The feel on all of the models was pretty sweet if you like the current Wilson line.
Won't this "Juice" just be painted on his old Wilson Hyper Pro Staff 95's he has used for years? I can't see a PWS.
Do you think amplifeel will change the game
sounds like a JoelDali comment.........
Change the game.......Absolutely NOT!
Help people with their game...... maybe so.
Do you want to give us a mini review of what your crew thought about the Juice Pro?
All we can.............
All we can say is that if you like the current Wilson lineup, you will really like the new frames, as feel was slightly increased.
have also heard men in drag...
couldn't resist ATP Bob...the dr left the door open.
@power player I'm a 16 year old high school player :| FYI
For related reading:
personally i actually don't mind this pj. i think it looks better than the blx pro tour pj for sure, but that's just me. the blx pj looked sooooo lacking, but this one has toooooo many colors. but nonetheless, i like this one better.
so this is really going to be Delpo's new pj? i have a feeling that he'll just either switch back to his k factor pj or use the blx pj of whatever racquet.
i think these picks are old because delpo was wearing nike 2k10s
he was wearing 2k10s until the the US HC season and he has the spring 2011 PE shoes on so probably taken around IW
The Wilson people seem to have lost the plot a little.
The old range was uniformly attractive - some of the BLXers are pretty ugly.
He was wearing the same shoes at the Davis Cup.
So, maybe they're just his customs?
I actually like the paint job. I wonder like his last racquet, if a closed string patterned version will come out as well.
Del Potros DC shoes are custom in that colour, He could be wearing them next year aswell for all we know.
I have the new juice and it's more hideous in person. Also if Del Potro is really playing with the juice that is one thick racquet the beam is actually thicker than a six one, it's like about an inch thick.
yup, i predicted it to be even uglier in person, sadly. does it play and feel good at least? i hear that it has a lot of power, and i'm assuming that it's quite stiff.
i've only hit with the juice 100 -- surprisingly it had nice flex and good feel...i really wanted to hate it, but i couldn't...can't wait to try the juice pro...
What has happened to Fedace?
He was banned.
The photo in the latest Tennis magazine looks like he's holding this racquet but the beam looks boxier. I could be mistaken.
I thought he was a harmless guy that did not do anything but make some really weird posts. I wonder what got him banned?
That is the way i looked at it, seemed harmless enough and curiously entertaining.
interesting, it sounds good. i'm going to definitely try out the juice pro too! thanks for the feedback!
I'd like to know as well. It was always hard to tell if he was really that innocent or if he was being sarcastic.
We'll be able to tell if he comes back under a different username. His style is unmistakable.
Have had a good hit with the Juice Pro and it is solid. Had Sensation strung in the demo and was such a smooth racquet with really great feel. Has a beautiful HL balance and the swing weight was perfect. The colour was the only off puttiing thing, but the way it played it wasn't a factor.
I see you use a BLX Blade 98. How do you feel the Juice Pro compares as far as plowthough, feel and control. Thanks
There's a 3/8ths on the Bay, if anyone is interested. Fair price - and NO - it's not mine. Just happened to run into it.
thanks for your feedback! great feel, great HL balance, great swing weight, and everything you described is just what i like. i can't wait to try out this one!
