Looked more like a K95 to me.

I only see maybe 2 or 3 other pros using a K90. Most of the K-Factor-looking racquets on tour are 95 sq. in.

I strung del Potros racket some weeks ago. It's a K95/n95/HPS 6.1/PSC 6.1 - who knows? Anyway it's this mold. String is Alu Power, I strung it with 63 lbs.

Does any one know the string pattern? 16x18 or 18x20?

That definitely looks like a K90 to me. Just look at the width of the "V" of the throat compared to the width of the head.

Stevenson is using a PS85 painted to look like a k90. Vincescourt from the boards works at the courts where she is currently practicing. he strings frames there as well.

He handled her frames. They are PS85's.

He is trying to get me some photos. As soon as he does, I'll post.

I've noticed that Del Potro's shots don't have overbearing spin. They actually appear a little flatter, which gives him more penetration, where his shots land deep in the court. They have that "zip" to them. I think the denser string pattern works well for him, and allots for more control.

would it be possible to count the string pattern on her racquet? The pic provided is not good enough.

I haven't gotten the photos from VincesCourt Yet.

however, he had them in his hands and called me on the phone. I was going to drive over there (5 minute drive), but was about to get on the court. Anyway, while we were speaking he said everything checked out. It is a PS85. he also spoke to her about it, and she confirmed. said wilson insisted she have it painted like a k90.

I would pay big money for some PS85's painted like K90's.

That makes sense as that pic definitetly shows her using something much smaller than a 95 from the width of the throat as compared to the width of the head.

Your word is good enough for me. I am a little surprised they painted that cut-out area in the throat to make it look like the K90.

On a mildly interesting sidenote, I was her hitting mule once and also strung for her. she was using a disontinued Dunlop racquet then w. no paintjob. the next time i saw her she was using a discontinued Prestige w. no paintjob and had to try to get in thru the qualies..she didnt make it.. since that time, she has slipped even more...dont think she is getting many perks from manufaturers as a WTA player who I dont think is ranked in the Top100.

Yep, you're right, Mojo---Stevenson is down to #213 this week---very few freebies at that level.
Hope to meet you the next time I work a job at the Ritz-Carlton.
And hope Hurricane Fay continues to stay away from your island.

213? zowie..The Ritz Carlton HarTru has been converted into the Ritz Carlton parking lot..yep..take paradise and put up a parking lot...it will reemerge again with fewer courts in a few months...also the bausch and Lomb no longer is...a change after 29 years here..the tourney will move to Sawgrass on the otherside of the tracks with a new title sponsor, where you must drive a luxury SUV and all breasts are 'official size and weight' :) unfortunate....we kicked Fay out of here...all is good thanks....if you get down here working some gig at the Ritz let me know...pristine hartru to be found at other places.
