It was awesome for groundstokes but a little slow for serves and tricky to volley but definitely does give your alot of control over your strokes. It weighs about 12 ounces so a little heavy for me when serving my 100+mph serves since I am used to an 11 ounce racquet. But on groundstrokes once I got used to the small sweet spot and stopped hitting the frame on the 97 sq inch frame, I was hitting with a lot of depth, pace, and control with both the forehand and backhand. The racquet head seemed small for volleys but was quick to get into position, but the heaviness made me a little slow in punching through the volleys but a very good racquet especially if your main game is baseline groundstrokes.

I am currently using a Wilson Prostaff Surge X and had been using a Volkl Quantum 8 and may get a Volkl Tour 8.

Oh, the $180 price tag on the Babalots is a little steep since I like to carry 2-3 identical racquets in my bag.

    babolat bashers, hush

Give me a break, bfonz. My Pure Control cost $119.00 brand new. I'm a small-ish sized person with a big swing and have never had any pain from using my racquet.
