I have a diablo MP and everyone who i let try it says it feels hard and stiff. On the other hand, PD seems soft to them.

So is diablo really stiff feeling? With the flex rating i was thinking ppl would say it feels soft. But they dont. As for me, eh, I really cant tell whether the racquet is soft or hard.

Btw in comparison to Yonex rd 500 MP, would the feel b entirely more soft on RDX500? Thinking about getting that just to try it out
    (no demo in thailand!)

I answered another post in a similar manner: " A PD with gut at 45# tension may feel softer than a Diablo MP with poly at 70# tension..."

Titanium, copper, tungsten, & who knows what else, etc, (the metals they use to make that frame) typically transmit energy (electricity, heat, shock, nuclear radiation, etc) much better than good ol graphite, kevlar or fiberglass... that's modern day, Prince ingenuity for ya!

Maybe it's that the Diablo is a smaller head/sweetspot and the people are mishitting with it more often?

Thats absurd. Diablo MP is one of the softest racquets out there.

The Diablo does has a stiff feel to it, but it isn't terribly stiff.

I thought the Diablo MP was a very soft hit. I bet the stiffness rating is low.

i just borrowed a friend's diablo MP today strung with some 15L gauge at mid tension... it was about the softest feel imaginable. Look at the specs... an extremely open string pattern with a 19mm flat beam. I don't know what racquet some of you are swinging.

It seems as if some posters here are getting confused; the MP is a very soft one while the Midsize is borderline stiff.

Sorry, my comment was about the Midsize version. Haven't hit with them MP since last year. Can't remember what it feels like.
