Did anyone check out how ugly Gulbis's new forehand is?

    Nah, Ralph's followthrough combined with his ugly facial expression is the ugliest stroke in tennis history.

    I think public televising of Gulbis new forehand should be prefaced with a "do not try this at home!" warning.

    I would love to hear how he dreamed up this monstrosity and then sell it as thinly veiled Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas sequel.

    He is playing better, but the difference, as it always was, is between his ears.

    I did sorta - seriously weird and is in some ways exactly opposite to nadal/fed technique

    First you take back with a full on straight arm, because of that your balance gets all screwed up and you need to keep your left arm straight and in front to counterbalance your take back.

    Now you are ready to swing and instead of fold-to-straight like fed and nadal, you bend your arm in on the rotation forward and meet the ball with a double bend

    Vou-a-la you have your very own ugly forehand
