difference in strings.. help

i dont really know anything with strings..
but i wanna know whats the difference with wilson sensation and wilson nxt strings??

do all kind of strings make that crack noise when straightening them?
i dont think poly strings do as much.

i know sensation string makes the crack noise, but does the nxt strings do?
i feel comfortable with the strings that make the crack noise when straighting them for some reason
