I played with LM Rads for a year, and there was hardly a ding or scratch on them. I've played with my m-fils for about a year, and they're all scratched up and everything. Is this pretty normal for m-fils?

yes, i play with the m-fil 200's and the paint is brittle and thin so they scratch, ding, chip and mark easily. i previously used the LM rads too, they have this like special laminate that covers the real paint on the racquet, it's a good quarter inch thick. it's almost like and epoxy that covers the paintjob so it's harder to see the dings. it makes the racquet look extra glossy and shiny, it looked nice.

The finish on Volkl v engine racquets and the DNX 9 also have a glossy finish that seems to protect them from dings and scratches. All racquets should be made that way.
