I'm pretty excited about an event tomorrow, and thought I'd share it with you.

Me and four friends have a league team that I captain. A couple of times a year we play a little round robin-tournament among ourselves. It's a lot of fun. Sometimes we've played shortened sets, but this time we'll be replacing sets with three tie breaks (to ten) in every match. For some added fun I've provided each player with three classic racquets; Yonex Srd-tour 90, Pog Mid and Dunlop Max200 G. We'll use one model in the first tb, one in the second and so on, but haven't decided in which order yet. Really looking forward to it! :)

Btw, next time around we might play woods, and I have more plans for upcoming events.

    ^^^Dino that sounds superb:)

When all the collecting, talking and taking photos is done; when it comes down to it, what really matters is having fun playing tennis with these great tennis rackets.

That's the most inspiring thing I've read on this board. Congratulations! Please tell us how the matches went and any anecdotes related to the rackets. Where are you located?

How did the tournament go? What were the racquets strung with and with what tension?

    Amen! Couldn't agree more.

    :) Thanks.

Thanks! I'll add a little comment in a separate post.

Nope, everybody had taken notice when I told them the rules...

Dino, I'm looking forward to hearing how the tournament went.

Unfortunately I can't play tennis at the moment, as I've injured my hand using a stiff shafted driver playing golf!

Honestly you'd have thought I'd have known better, seeing as I've been going on about how some modern stiff rackets can cause injuries, didn't think golf clubs would do a similar thing, not very clever of me:?
