2 of the most in-form players this year (or this fall should I say). Their Shanghai match was a classic that ended with a 7-6 final set win for Djokovic. Can Del Po take this one or is it Fed in 2...uhhmmm I mean Djokovic in 2?

Djokovic in 3! Maybe even 2 but I'm going with 3 just to be safe.

For the life of me and after many perusals of the main site, I cannot figure out the schedule.
Are they playing tonight, or tomorrow?

Djokovic in 2. 6-4, 6-2. This court is so slow that Djokovic's RoS-game + defending are too much to DelPo. In Shanghai it was close call but not here, in my opinion.

Depends how many eggs Novak eats. I'm going to trust him and say he eats just enough to get the job done. Novak in 3.

Delpo's time to shine! Hope he takes it. He was dead even with Djokovic at Shanghai and Wimbledon and beat him at Indian Wells, so I hope the trend continues.

These are the kind of pivotal matches Del Potro ALWAYS seems to lose today, even when he gets close. It is hard to bet against Djokovic, but I hope Del Potro proves me wrong and finally wins one of these key matches, he seems completely incapable of winning anymore.

    Djokovic in 2 tight sets.

If not Chokovic in 3 . The court is slow. So Delpo cannot hit through like in Shanghai

However on a slow court like Indian Wells, Delpo did hit through.

Depends on which version of Delpo shows up. However I'm still going with Chokovic in 3 for worst case!

Delpo is one of the few players that actually can hit through this mud.

DelPo has no chance whatsoever if par-Nole stands up. This court is sooooo slow. Imo, Shanghai has fastest courts all over the world, nowadays. Cin was slower, close call but you got the point. OTOH, high bounce is what DelPo need for his forehand missiles but I think Novak's aggressive RoS game is THE factor. Let's see who's right.

Del Potro has been off recently, so I would say Novak in 2, but he must be tired now after playing pretty much non-stop since Paris, and Delpo always pumps himself up for Novak, so Novak in 3.

He sure has played Djokovic tough this year, especially since Indian Wells.......Come to think of it, Del Potro has played Murray, Nadal and Federer tough every time out as well. Hard to believe Del Po has zero big titles this year given how well he's played vs The Big 4 in 2013

I'll go with Djokovic in another 3 setter.

The most exciting rivalries are becoming Nole vs Stan and Nole vs DelPo. Federer is still good too. Evenly matched up. Awesome slugfests with lots of variety. Great shotmaking. Rallies usually kept to a minimum and end usually on a winner. Great net play. All court play. Ball bashing, net play, baseline play, attacking play, defensive mixed in, etc...
oo la la Eggs Over Medium.

Please, those are no rivalries. Djokovic always wins. Come back to me when Djokovic loses several matches to those guys again, then we can talk about rivalries. Until then zzzzzz. Especialy Wawrinka who always chokes against Djokovic.

The Brethren never ever talk about GOAT. I eat organic freshly slaughtered GOAT meat off my friends farm. You talking about that GOAT? :)
We just do not care and understand there is no GOAT. It a mystical beast.
Please take that over to the Nadal and Federer threads thank you.

The Brethren like good tennis matches and as long as The SOG tried his best that is all we ask for. Who cares about GOAT. Nole plays all year long and is always there. That is all we can ask for. It is like a baseball team all we ask is we get into the playoffs each year and we got our shot.

Wait is this NadForce infiltration into this thread? I think I might be on the receiving end of a Drive By Shooting....:)

I feel like Delpo can pull the minor upset here and take this one, but I don't think he'll do it in 3. Going with Delpo in 2 tight sets.

This is a very nervous match today. The ball just sits up high on this court. DelPo can just t off on that thing with that Hammer of Thor Forehand. I have never ever seen such a monstrous thing in that Big W SF 2013. Just sick that Nole was able to get that back with some pop as well.

Now Djoker take it in 2. 6-4, 6-2. I got my first bet (single 6-4, 6-3), spot on in Fed's match (I was so happy after getting some money) but if this gonna end 6-4, 6-2, the multiplier is gonna be so sick.....C'mon Djokovic.
