Vintage BH DTL from Novak to close out the match there.

Decent showing from Delpo he was playing well except for that brain fart game to get broken in the third.

Impressive fashion the way he served out that match Djokovic. Hitting 4 winners. Definitely looks like he's ready to defend his title.

Only had half an eye on this match as I was busy writing an essay at the same time. Caught it at the start of the 2nd set - Delpo seemed on fire in that set. Didn't see the break in the 3rd. But it seemed like a high quality match overall.

Interesting match coming up between Delpo and Fed to decide who goes through to play Rafa.

Edit: 999 posts. Need my 1000th to be awesome.

He knew it too. Head back looking to the roof. Arm over mouth. He just knew...Can not give anything in the 3rd to Nole. He seems to not give anything in the decider.....

Was friggin tied up in a stupid meeting. As soon as I'm out I found Lord Egg prevailed.

What are the chances that Lord Egg will be 2nd in the table to face Nadal in semis? I mean Fed defeats Delpo in 2 sets and lord egg loses in 2 sets to coke head(which I don't see happening)?

He's still first in the table, because they use head-to-head in the event of a two-way tie. Sets and games percentage only kicks in if there's a three-way tie, which is now only possible in Group A. Group B will end up 3-2-1-0 or 2-2-1-1.

    LOL! What a hot mess!

You know I am coming to realize most of us Nole fans are very self deprecating. We really do not take it personally when Nole is abused. Chico tends to be sensitive tho.
Wonder why we are different than other certain fan bases? :?:

Good. I don't want him to face Stan the Man in Semis. I'm sure he'll defeat him....but Fed--> Delpo--> Stan will just burn the egg master down before he faces Nadal in Final.

OTOH I wan Delpo to win and qualify for Semis. I really want to see if someone can test Nadal before he gets to final!

"Nadal is winning the WTF and Arsenal are going to win the PL and CL."

I think the only one of the above predictions that is going to happen is that i think Arsenal will win PL but as for the other two i doubt it :).

Great hard fought win for Novak vs biggest favorite to win WTF beside him. I am starting to believe Novak might indeed win this, despite the exhaustion and unfavorable draw and schedule. Amazing.

Given that group B got screwed on the scheduling (they really ought to have a rest day after the completion of group matches) and that he's on the evening match on Saturday, it's very lucky for him that he's already won the group and that the match is against Gasquet. He can treat it as a hard practice session, and will probably still win 6-4 6-4 or more easily.

Yes Djokovic needs to preserve energy for the SF and F. Especially since Novak's group B (contrary to Nadal's group A) don't have a full day of rest before SF and will be handicapped in the SFs.

I don't think he will play hard vs Gasquet.

The ATP scheduling is ridiculous. Bercy/WTF/DC Final should not be played back to back to back.

Funny thing, Djokovic ended last three matches against Del Potro with BH DTL winner.

    Wimbledon
    Shanghai

Yesterday, the commentators said that next year they will go back to the regular 1 week off between Paris and WTF. I think it's literally insane to play those 2 back to back. I can't figure out why they did this even once.

Thanks for the visual. I forgot all about Gasquet's "indiscretion." I was like, "who is C oke Head?"
