oh WOW  I'M SO SHOCKED I.... I don't know what to say I.... I... am just kidding...

    "standard length" uhhhh okay :s
"331 grams" uhhh okay doesn't tell me anything without balance, and even then not much
"98 sq. in head" ........................ this is probably the most shocking data to have been bestowed upon us

thank you, for you have restored my faith in humanity.

i like the specs! similiar to kbt but just a bigger framed head which is good as 93 sq is fairly small and 98 is just right for anyone from club players to pros. i can't wait to try a demo. nice cosmetics aswell in my opinion.

May?? By that time the hype is going to die. The way that Novak is complaining about the racquet if he switches that puts Head in a horrible position.

I know for sure that this racquet will come with a leather grip.
    That sounds good for me!

May???? I think Head is not sure about the raquet. If it was any good it would already be out.

I am surprised Djokovic isn't dumping the new Head frame and trying to get back with Wilson. Head must have paid him a ton of money; he is struggling with the new Head frame. Trade your ranking for money, what a mistake, Juan Carlos Ferrero all over again.

From what I saw, I was not under the impression that he's struggling with the new racket at all. Actually, his FH is better, BH is pretty much the same, the serve is pretty much the same...

I think he's struggling in his head though...

Too much $$, too much fame, less interest in tennis...

The racquet will also include a feature where it will fall apart if played with in over 95 degree temps. That will give you an excuse to retire in hot matches.

For Nole to lose to Roddick is a real set back. Of course he struggled beating the lesser players in the earlier rounds, but he usually makes Roddick look like a senior player.

I think if he stays with Head, he will probably drop out of the top 10. Forehand less effective, no confidence on serve, overall he has dropped a level since switching. But I guess the money was good, I still remember what Head did to Juan Carlos Ferrero, he finally gave up and went back to Prince.

I agree. some people have no clue what it's like to play in that sort of weather day after day almost even though he got 1 day to rest and that was hardly a day because his match with baghdatis finished so late.

aaaaand...did u guys realy watche the match???
i think andy played one of his best matches..serve was amazing...he is moving better and playing more all court..his new coach has got him on the correct track thats for sure..

and nole is playing the same raquet as he did with wilson called a radical LM..
i played his PJ wilson aka radical coming straight from wilson international italy..no where near the blade and tour..

    Speed Pro..........

Just spoke to my Head rep and he told me that they are going to a meeting next week to discuss the status of the Head Speed Pro. According to him, the scheduled release date for the US is early May.

    Cheers, TennezSport

this racket, if indeed comes in a 16 x 19 string pattern, sounds like Head's copy of a babolat pure storm tour (also 335g and this string pattern with this head size)... my personal favorite racket out at the moment...!

The balance is 31.0. I don't know how many pts headlight that translates into, I believe that there's a tool on TW that allows for stuff like this to be found out.

Nope, still 98 headsize. There's two versions, the only difference it seems is the string pattern. Notice how the 16x18 is the Pro (or Tour) version, so why would the non-pro version have harder-to-use specs than the Pro version?

I have no idea what it's similar to. Notice the fact that nobody has hit with it yet, as it's still in development....

After winning the French, Juan Carlos switched to Head and started down the tube. He is ranked 65 now, and I suspect his career is about over, such a shame. Safin attempted to use a Dunlop, and gave Dunlop back the million and told them I can't play with this piece of $$$T.

Moral of the story is, if you are winning, don't change equipment. Find something you like and stick with it, Nole was making a lot of prize money, now he makes the money up front, and gets the weekend off.

Has anyone heard whether or not the headsize will be measured like the Prestige (really a 95) or if it's truly a 98?

There are tons of frames that have almost identical specs, and play worlds apart. And how the hell would someone have played the frame if it's not out yet?

I like the couple of the different versions that I have played with. I am not as much into the heavier version (speed pro). Just have always liked a lighter frame. I think this line of rackets will be good sellers, But will just have to wait and see I guess.

A local shop told me that the official name of the racquet is NOT "Speed Pro" and has not been designated yet. He heard it from directly from a Head rep. Perhaps it's just a temporary name.
