dennis...answer me this...what racket does the heavier version play like...a kblade or a prestige!!
In my opinion the Kblade/Lm radical.
It's probably what the ******* child would be if these two frames were to be combined.
i heard novak uses a paintjobbed dampener. He really uses a ying yang dampener but has it PJ'd to look like a smiley face...
is it only comming out in a 98 or will there be a 93 or 95 or some other version!
No, as I said multiple times before in your trolling threads, there only will be a 98. It'll come in 2 different string patterns, and nothing more.
oh thought someone else answered that...so i asked it again just to make sure!!
There will be 3 different rackets that will come out in that line and they will not all be the 98 head size. There will be a larger size as well.
But they will not be coming out at the same time I don't believe. 98 is going to be the majority and Nick said
darn...so no smaller!!
they need to make it a bit smaller!! for the people who use the kbalde 93 to change! of course this is more like the radical i guess!
yeah roddick was gonna thump him if they had played a forth set. djockovic always retires, complains or generaly complains..... i cracked my kblade tour on the inside of the neck :S remind me not to let go of my racquet when hitting a fore hand (on the plus side i hit a clean winner.
No, there's no need to make it smaller. The people who like the Kblade 93 can use the Kblade 93. If they wanted to switch, there's the Head Prestige. Of course it's like the LM Radical. That's what Novak has been using the whole time. When he first got on tour, he used a somewhat custom frame that came out of the LM Radical Midplus mould. When he was signed by Wilson, they bought the mold and made his custom frames for him, and started selling a mass-produced version of it, which became the Nblade. He never used a Kblade, or any iteration of it. His new frame, the Speed Pro, is straight out of the same mould, but slightly different in layout.
a question why is he still using a wilson dampener (am i riht in thinking its a wilson dampener) im a dampener hater only ever use a gamma absorber or a elastic band.
quick right with the people who like the kblade should stick with it you shouldnt use a racquet cos you favourite pro is using it. you get a racquet to suit your game. I like wieght so i got a kblade tour but ive tried and tested to see what i like ive had aero stike, wilson n5, and a pure drive roddick(fav racquet ever it snaped though getting the new one whether its a pj or not)
well its because i like the specs on the speed pro!!
but not the square inch!!
I'm getting one very very soon.. (as some guy promised).. so I'll post up the picture as soon as I landed..
Then get something with your desired headsize, and modify it. Don't switch when you don't need to.
Nickc you are right about many things that you say and you are one of the few that know what they are talking about. But.. It is a different mold. Yes, it is first cousin to Lm radical and kblade(from wv) but it is different, yet play very same... No harsh words, just telling you..
Very nice post. SammyBoy's hysterics are getting a bit much. Don't like 98, don't buy! I love Head sticks - but don't feel obligated to get every one, especially one that doesn't offer specs I want. It's not like this is the last racket they'll ever make. 98's just too big for my taste. I may hit this one just for giggles - but can't imagine it will make me want to toss my Microgel Prestige mid in the dumpster...
Are you 100% sure of the timing of his switch and decline? I thought he had at least 1 good year with Head. I thought his issues were more with a) Affluenza (enjoying the spoils of being a top pro!); b) age; c) knee injury. Having said that, I would be very hesitant to switch sticks too. Unless a pro's current company was really under market rates for their endorsement deal (and I'm sure the pros know what other guys are getting) I'd stay put.
Head always advertise their 95" frames as 98 and 90 as 93,maybe they did that with this frame too.
I can't wait for it to come out! I want to put my wilson ncode in a bread slicer.
I think that his dampener has a pj...
these rackets look dope. just to my taste. and the bag is TIGHT! I was thinking about getting some prestige MPs but im definately gonna wait to demo these first. does anyone know what grip size the ones in the photo are? can't quite make it out
C'mon guys, surely you could have worked out what 31cm translate to inches. 12 and a quarter inches is 31.1cm which means the racket is 10points HL.
Don't pay attention to him. He is becoming a Pro at flaming and being confrontational with posters on this forum.
this looks identical to LM radical midplus.
Now, this is pretty lame, but:
At least it is getting near.
"...most powerful tour racquet ever". Wonder how they measure that one!
I thought I saw a picture of Djokovic with a HEAD racket before he was with wilson... I might be wrong though
Novaks specs on the new Speed Pro unstrung sw 341 w 324 bp 31.7cm
Specs for the released version who knows......
Yes, it's a Radical 98 but does have the new teflon grommet system.
I asked the dealer about the speed pro last week, they said that it will be released in late march, with a price of 1200rmb (about 176usd), they had already ordered 100 of them and I'm looking foward to meet'em, hope the information helps. =)
P.S: I'm currently in Shanghai
Yeah A couple of my sources told me around May and a couple said around March... There isn't a definite price but I expect it to be around $180.

Website for the Speed Pro (a little silly):
lol thouse speed lessons rock
I don't know about you guys, but I like the Speed Lessons website. The Service lesson was especially funny. I can't wait for the second video.
Hi Doug, I wonder which dealer in Shanghai, 'cause I can only find 1499RMB of it.
Yea, please do tell.
Ripperfranky, which store did you find the racquet at 1499RMB, and what are some good tennis stores in Shanghai? Because I'll be there next week. Thanks a lot! (and yes I can read Chinese)
Sorry, 1488RMB, it's in "52sports.com" but I usually go to "esports" which is close to the club I play. I think the reputation of "esports" is well enough and the price is reasonable. They all have websites.
Hope that can help.
I don't like the new Speed Lesson-
I asked about the speed pro at esports, they told me it was 1200.
Few days before I called again and they told me the price is 1300.
I hope this will be the real price when they come out.
Does hi use a standard length version ?
Austria - Kennelbach - Feb, 2009 - HEAD announced the launch of “Speed Lessons” with Novak Djokovic to great acclaim worldwide. A preview to the launch of HEAD’s newest line of racquets in April, Speed Lessons is a viral, creative, word of mouth marketing strategy that is making waves online in the campaign’s first week, touting the company’s “most powerful tour racquet ever created.”
HEAD has been aggressively marketing this campaign worldwide through various online platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and partner Web sites including Tennis Warehouse and Tennis.com, among others. The company is also marketing the initiative through its enewsletter, Web site www.head.com, and links through other industry channels.
A fully interactive Web site, www.speedlessons.com, is drawing consumers to see what HEAD’s top professional player has to say about the new racquet. Djokovic, world ranked No. 3, has been playing with the Speed racquet since January and narrates the satirical online videos meant to tease consumers about the upcoming product launch with a humorous side.
Visitors to the Web site can also register to win one of 10 Speed racquets autographed by Djokovic, sign up for the HEAD newsletter and forward information on the new site to friends.
Thanks Douglas, very useful information.
That's not necessarily a good thing.
I want this racket. Pretty badly.
