Clarky, please stop your BS, and I say this out of love...you are too young to be this miserable.

If someone had been heckling Nadal all day I would say the same thing. The tennis court is the player's workplace..you have the right to work in a non hostile environment.

You really need to leave this persecution complex alone.

Please refer to my previous post. You would be front and center carrying a pitchfork if Nadal had behaved this way. Deny it all you want, but it doesn't make it so.

As for the rest of your post, all I can do to sum it up is

Go Novak! He was justified to do that and it was appropriate.

No clarky..you are wrong. I call out Nadal for his bs, but I am also objective..you know me, you know I am a fed fan, but this entire thread against Djokovic was bs.

Just because you have a persecution complex doesnt mean everyone feels as hard to defend their hero as you do and by default, hate everyone else.

I repeat, if Rafa had been harassed and heckled by a spectator all day, I would applaud him confronting the guy as well. As I said, the tennis courts are the players' workplace , and everyone has the right to a non-hostile work environment. I call rafa and any other player out for their bs, but right is also right.

    Objectivity...live it, love it.

What a bunch of crap you're spouting. If it was Nadal, you'll probably lead the heckling yourself. You *******s are one and the same !!!

No, see, because I can be objective, unlike Nadal fans who have a pavlovian response and need to defend everything he does.

Its unfortunate for nadal in the past year he has been more in the wrong than not, but if he was in this situation, I wouldnt have anything bad to say about it.

I leave you to your tardism because clearly you are so butthurt that nothing I can say will prove to you otherwise.

    Have a blessed day.

C'mon Clarky. Let's be honest. It would just be ONE or TWO who would be persecuting Nadal if he said something. Even if he said nothing, for that matter. A few of us will of course seize the opportunity to come out with something corny -- I certainly would :D

I added the "Cvac/Rolaids" and other nicknames myself to what the feller actually said, so no royalties to you.

Nah, I think peRFection is a **** through and through. The text on the video description was verbatim to what he wrote in the OP. I am assuming that is his youtube account.

Look, let's be honest, bro. :D

When Fred said "Be quiet, okay", do you remember how he was raked over hot coals by members of your camp. Even when he said "Shut up" recently there were people who got good mileage out of that.
... How horrible he is, how we can never like him, every time we warm up to Fred he does something unforgivable like saying "Be quiet".

So it's not unreasonable to think that if Rafa says the very same words, a lot of *******s will miss that opportunity to hit back.

However, I don't even take this kind of nonsense seriously. It's some teenagers fighting back and forth over nothing. At least we adults should keep our necks out of that nonsense. Comprendo, amigo ?:)

Get it straight: the comment is about exteremist habits on the board, not just this thread--which serves another example of said habits (and why so many are criticizing this BS thread). But your flame is on notice.

    Thanks for playing.

Typical of TW these days. The children who back Nadal have to make everything about him. We adults were having a nice discussion to Djokovic's response to a bad situation - then the kiddies roll in and start the 'would too!' silliness.

hmm. I agree. Nadal would get crap for this from loads more people. Fed would too from Fed haters, but I have to give you credit for not joining those having a go at Djokovic and saying the fan should have kept quiet.

Exactly! Complete non-issue! I would like to give OP the benefit of the doubt but it seems this thread was deliberately created as an excuse to flame Djokovic.

QFT The guy sat in first row to do his stalking... Creepy. I like Djoko's reaction a lot, full of authority but without insults or unnecessary aggression. I bet it was really efficient and the guy totally cooled off after that. Since Seles's stabbing back then, I've always been scared for the players' safety. There are deranged people out there ready to take the fanaticism way beyond acceptable limits. They need to be put in their place pronto and be evacuated quickly if they insist on disrupting the game (or worse harassing a player) deliberately.

I have no problem with Djokovic's behavior here. Tennis players are stage performers, but no stage performer, be it a comedian, singer, stage actor or cat juggler ignores and doesn't respond to overt hostility expressed by someone in the audience. That sort of behavior doesn't merit courtesy and consideration from the athlete or performer.

novak handled the situation perfectly there was no unnecessary aggression. He just asked the guy if there was a method to his madness and got on with his tennis business. Simple and to the point and he took care of business

Yeah I agree with you, I also thought it sounded stalker-ish and thought of the seles incident. If someone is following you around, they have to be a little weird... who knows what they could do. Djokovic was quite controlled, didn't melt down and he said what he had to in less than half a minute. Quicker than he serves sometimes

agreed. good on Novak for doing that. the fan was a little b-i-t-c-h. are you reading this, if you are that fan? if yes, i think you are a little b-i-t-c-h unless Novak had wronged you somehow before that incident in which case, i take back what i said.

Don't know much about "shut up", but as far as "be quiet" is concerned, he was absolutely right.

Djoko*****es were awful. They were screaming and jumping throughout the match like monkeys in the circus. And in that episode the linesman called "out", the Djerks split the stadium with screaming, Federer went to the line, checked the shot, wiped off the print, and was returning quietly to his baseline.

Everybody understood that Federer admitted the shot in, and stopped making noise. The Djerks continued screaching ORDERING Federer to tell the umpire that the shot was in. At this moment Federer kindly asked them to be quiet.

I was very greatful to him because this well-mannered sweet-voiced family nearly destroyed my ears.
