You don't see that happen a lot. Why was he in pain, did the board fall on his knee?

Not really but if that happened to Nadal he immediately would have used it as an excuse to withdraw from Indian Wells.

Hate him all you want but from what I understand, Novak is usually very good with fan stuff, autographs, whatever. It probably actually hurt or he was p*ssed off at the situation...

Yes he his. At Indian Wells he spent almost 45 min signing autographs after he practiced. He made sure everyone of the kids got his signature. Looks like the metal board hit him in the shins lol.

LMAO I doubt it even grazed him.
Well I guess he's just working on his acting skills.
USO11 final act was pretty lame.

    Hey now, that's not fair...

...leaving out the AO, where his performance easily could have landed him an Emmy.

I do hope he's alright though! Tennis can't afford losing yet another top guy.

Would you show any concern for Fed if this happened to him? You'd probably be cheering the fence on.

Those things never happen to Fed. Fences wouldn't dare.

No that's right, Fed's too arrogant to let fences fall on him. ;)

Not the fans' faults. The boards broke. Simple as that.

And after that, people will say Djoko is not popular... Look how eager they are to get his autograph. I only know 2 occurrences of this: in Miami for Nadal and now Perth for Djoko. Fences broken by the fans's passion. How moving (literally :))

I guess, if Novak was closer to the fence the injury could have been serious.

It could have been ugly. I am glad he is okay, and will be able to defend his title.
