The guys form is gone down the dump.He will not make the final of Rome, won't make the final of RG if he has to play federer or nadal in semis, certainly won't make the final of Wimbledon and will probably lose to federer or Nadal at uso.

Look what Monaco is doing to him.

Next slam win for him will probably be Australian Open 2013.

Think the statement is ridiculous, but his form IS worrying. He'll have a tough time with the other top guys, and I think especially Nadal will crush him at RG and W if he plays like this.

I wouldn't even pencil in 2013 AO for Djok. It took Djok 5 sets to beat Murray and 5 sets to beat Nadal at AO.

I disagree. He will win RG and the USO at the very least. Including the AO,that's 3 slams two years straight.

What are you talking about Clarky ? Paella has this RG in the bag , you know it , I know it, everyone knows it. With RG just round the corner Rolaids is in such horrid form and Toblerone is tiring himself winning all these useless tournaments. They will most likely destroy each other in the semis like last year leaving Paella to pocket another RG.

This is Noles garbage year yet he's already got a slam to his name.

Next year should be fun. :)

Trying to become a comedian? You'd have to be to think Nadal will win RG. Lol.

Rolaids is going to be fine, and so will Toblerone.

Nope. With Nadal falling to number 3 he will most likely end up falling in Rolaids half, therefore losing in the semis. Besides,Nadal won't make the final there no matter which half of the draw he falls in.

Noel's peaking for RG and London not these mickey mouse events. Don't let this form fool you - he's just coasting on a low gear.

What?!? Did hell freeze over or something? Novak will not even reach FO final much less win it, I'm sure of it.

If anything the way he's playing right now, Nadal is an absolute lock for FO+Wimbledon double this year, you know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

How can anyone think he will win Roland Garros?
He has won HOW MANY French Opens?
He has made HOW MANY finals there?

Do you get it now? None of that stuff matters when it comes to Rolaids. He will win RG this year. Just give him the trophy now and save us all the time.

Didn't they say the same thing last year about Wimbledon?

Oh, and at least he didn't make 5 finals just to be embarrassed every single time by the same guy.

I would put more money on him not making the semifinals of RG vs him winning RG.

If he plays Nadal, Nadal will beat him in 3, maybe 4 sets.

Novak is de-priming this year, but I was referring to a peak within an off year. He will definitely prime next year when there's no Olympics and everyone else is de-primed.

Kindly correct me, respected Sir, if I have misunderstood the Prima Sutra.

Nadal made seven finals in a row that he lost to Djokovic, not five.

Same as 2008, Djokovic got the AO (clearly his best slam, he's won it 3 times) and nothing more. The thing is, the Australian Open is Nadal's worst slam, so if Nadal is going to win 3 slams in a year, its likely not going to include the Australian Open (where he's lost in QF 2 of the last 3 years). A dominant year for Nadal will obviously include the Channel slam and the US Open (the last time Nadal lost before the semis of US Open was 2007).

I was talking about a certain Swiss player who got to five RG finals and lost all of them in 4 sets or less.

Oh, sorry I got confused. Since Federer has only played Nadal in four RG finals NOT five. And he certainly didn't lose five finals, because he has a RG to his name.

I thought you were talking about Nadal having five final losses from IW 2011 to Wimbledon 2011, since the topic was about Djokovic winning Wimbledon, where he had beaten Nadal in five straight finals up to that point. It's just that the all surface final streak was 5 not 7, hence my post. And the whole thing about being embarrassed, I thought you meant that the beatings came on every surface within record breaking time.

Djokovic was "embarassed" by the very same guy the round before on 3 occasions, he didn't even win a set in those 3 meetings.

AO is not is worst slam. USO is.

It isn't only about how far you get. I'm really amazed at the lack of intelligence of some of you.

At the 2008, 2009, and 2011 USOs Rafa didn't play a single top 10 player before the semis. In 2010, the only top 10 player he played before the Final was Verdasco, who is about the easiest top 10 opponent he could've faced regardless of his current W over Rafa.

On the other hand, in his two quarterfinal losses at the AO, he played Murray (5th seed) and Ferrer (7th seed).

All his results show is that he got better draws at the USO. You can't use one variable (slam results) to prove something when you don't control other factors. It would make more sense to compare his record against the top 10 at each tournament in order to determine which is his worst.

I still think he's much more vulnerable at USO.

Djokovic will be stopped by the great Federer, who will get all slam organizers to alter courts and conditions so he can win something worth shouting about....

dude, that's a very pathetic comment, good players adapt to all surfaces, blue clay only showed that Federer has an amazing complete game, he can play from all areas of the court, Nadal then complains about injuries and that he is such a girl and he is not coming back next year, same as djoko*****, just proving that they can't adapt...

Yes, blue clay showed Berdych has the 2nd most amazing complete game.

Is it Nadal and Djokovic's fault that they don't want to risk injury playing on an ice rink?

if you don't want to hurt yourself, don't play, easy, ovbiously they don't have any skill to finish a point quickly, they depend on long rallies, and of course Nadal's defensive crappy game was ineffective because he couldn't change direction quick enough, he was just bitter he lost to Verdasco and as always he attributed his loss to injury risk and so on, if you don't want to get injured don't play, just prove you can't play any different and your game is crap...

Of course. I guess some players are just more talented than others, and don't have to rely on footspeed, running around, grinding out points... players that have a Plan B, or C, or D, whatever it takes to win. Seems like Rafa's Plan B is to b$%^# about conditions, Plan C is to complain about injuries.

That is the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life!

The AO is BY FAR Nadal's worst slam. Nothing hurts Nadal more than a hardcourt that promotes long rallies. At least at the US Open Nadal is able to get some cheap points. I hope the AO is no longer a slam in future. The AO is suicide, and the biggest threat to Nadal's future health. And he's not successful at the AO, even the year he won it, he all but lost to Verdasco, and then Federer won more points than Nadal in the final.

If that were the case, he wouldn't be more successful on slow hard courts like IW and Miami than he is on quick hardcourts like Cincy/Paris/Shanghai.

Are you 12 years old? I'm honestly confused by your lack of logic.

He's clearly pacing himself for his most important slam. Winning RO will complete a career grand slam and a Novak slam. He'll be ready when the time is right. He's just doing enough to win right now.
