Well, maybe adidas shoes are not so comfortable
WOW... thats strange indeed... during practice as well...
omg. it's a paintjob.
chalk one up for nike
or maybe they just gave him a ton of money also i dont see the black swoosh anywhere
woa! thats unreal given he has a multi million $ deal with adidas... they will be pissed to say the least!!
does it mean that nike is better than adidas on grass ?
Canas was wearing Nike shoes today rather than his normal!
^ who is the girl? She looks beautiful
That's Maria Sharapova in her Nike Vapor S2 sneakers, but there isn't any logo at all on the shoes. I know it's obvious what they are, but the guy is contracted with Adidas. It's probably just for the grass court season.
wow, adidas' top guy wearing nikes. no way in the world nike would let fed wear barricades.
Personally Adidas have never felt right on my foot, but plenty of people swear by them. It is very interesting to see this guy go to the Cage's. Maybe hes trying to get in Marias good graces and try to score
Maria by the way does look very nice in the pic. It appears shes got a little more booty than I remeber seeing as well as nice thigh muscles. But once you get close enough to her she will always have that snobby stuck up nose in the air look about her.
I'm surprised by this sudden lack of faith in the grass Barricade from Djokovic and Murray considering plenty of people have been wearing these for the past couple of years.
You actually see this happen a lot in the sports world outside of tennis. I know in College Football teams are often contracted with certain sponsors for their footwear. Players are allowed to wear other brands but they have to remove any identifying marks, such as a Nike Swoosh. This however is the first time I have seen it in tennis.
perhaps djokovic tought than if he use the cages he could play like Nadal jaja
:lol:Booty always looks better in pics
This is what Novak had to say:
Well, let's say if you can not beat Nadal, join him.
I'm so glad I got the white cages. World number 2 and 3 wear them!!!
i guess the grass barricades aren't cutting it for him. the grass barricades haven't gotten an update in awhile.
and uh, yeah right
adidas barricades fo life
the cages hes using have different sole from what the normal cages carry duh
READ THIS ARTICLE:
Guess the Nike's aren't working for him either. What was Safin wearing on his feet?
im still a little stunned
haha, way to go Novak!
i love my cages too!
thats pretty funny. its kinda cool thought that adidas would let him do that. thanks for the article freshstew!
did anyone else notice that Safin was wearing the shoes Djokovic was supposed to wearing, and Safin won.
Ahhhhh, so its no REALLY about the skill and practice, its al about the shoes.... lol
should have stuck with the stripes Djoker .
surely he will be be in some serious trouble with adidas for this... he will no doubt be fined from his retainer deal....
Read the article someone linked to, there's not much they can do if the logos are covered up and they aren't happy with what adidas are providing.
Lucky for Adidas he didn't get far enough into the tournament for many to notice.
His shoes caused him to lose. SWITCH BACK! LOL!
Who cares about the shoes... Maria's ass looks HAWT!!
Looks like Impossible is Something!
That article was impressive in its lack of tennis knowledge:
"...tennis players' ... most important equipment..." - sneakers? Uh, I would go with RACKET! But maybe that's why I didn't make it to #1...
The pic of the Nike's was nice - but those aren't grass court shoes. If Djokovic had worn them he would have slipped, fallen, and probably broken multiple bones.
I do respect Adidas (although I only buy Nike ) - there was no way they could make a change to their grass court soles fast enough - and let their players use something else instead of risking injury.
