got my dnx 9 two days ago, tried it last night, strung with bde rally gut in main at 52lbs and cross with x-1 biphase at 54 lbs.
actually, i am looking forward that dnx9 will play similar to tour9Ve, as it shows similar weight and sw. but i found it plays totally diff, tour 9 ve has bigger sweetspot, softer stringbed, and has more power.
switching to dnx9, also makes my timming off, need time to adjust.. serve is better than tour 9.
really feel stiff in the stringbed...
    any suggestion?

did you use the tour 9 18x20 or 16x19? because if you used the tour 9 VE 18x20, the stringbed is obviously gonna play much softer, more powerful, and have a slightly larger sweetspot.

Hi Bagung, where in Jakarta? I am in South Jakarta.

If i am not mistaken, you were playing with a DNX8 previously? Why are you switching to the DNX9? Do keep me posted on your latest adventure with the DNX9 as i am considering getting either the DNX8 or DNX9.

Stay w/ the DNX 9. Give it time, because it really does have a unique feel that is plenty 'strange' at first. I played w/ the Tour 9 VE for about 6 weeks before my DNX 9, and -- despite the similar weight and balance -- they really play differently.

Funny, but I found the DNX 9 plays more powerfully, with a softer and "thicker" feel. The Tour 9 VE feels stiffer and more brittle in comparison.

Although I found the DNX 9's sweetspot a bit smaller at first, a lower tension helped. It didn't exactly enlargen the sweet spot, but it did make the difference between the sweet spot and surrounding area less pronounced. Hope that make sense.

But in just about every category -- power, spin, feel, serves, returns, volleys -- I have found the DNX 9 to be superior.

will give you the address by next tuesday, as i have left it in the office...
yes, previously play with dnx8, it is a very good racquet, just a little to stiff for my taste and a little to light for me,otherwise it is good. then switch to tour9Ve and love the weight, that is why i am trying dnx9.
trying again dnx9 on friday, if it fits my game, i will pick up another one, and get rid of dnx 8..

If you really like the tour 9ve, then you should stick with that one.... why bother switching to the DNX9? BTW, where do you normally get your strings? I cant find x-1 biphase here locally.

Wow, that's quite expensive about US$185. Did that price include stringing?
