I have lots of Adidas, mostly Comp series shirts and shorts. All have "cold wash/line dry" instructions. I have accidentally put shorts in the dryer (actually my wife did) and while they were not ruined, the fabric was effected somewhat. Over the long haul, not a good idea IMO. On the other hand, much of my Nike and Sergio Tacchini can go into the dryer with no problems. FWIW, the Adidas are higher quality in terms of the cut, fabric and construction IMO.

If it's 100% polyester fabric (like all the Edge, Comp, and Response Court stuff), it will not shrink.

Also, you probably want to set the dryer to the lowest heat setting, to prevent any damage to the fabric. Polyester will dry fast. I can usually remove mine after about 20 min in the dryer.

Poly stuff will not shrink, but I always air dry them. It's better for the material, and poly dries fast anyway...

    I wouldn't machine dry it.

Polyester stuff won't strink, it's the cotton that you have to worry about. Usually if you wash using cold water and dry on low heat or hang dry it, then even cotton clothes won't shrink (maybe very slightly)

If you wash at a high temperature or tumble dry it may ruin the polyester.

Wash it at 30 degrees and air dry like the others said.
