    Hey guys,

I am between two minds on ordering 9.5 and 10?
Compared to GR3, is there a real difference in size?
    Thanks for your answers.

I usually wear an 8.5 with 2 socks for New Balance 1004s. I ordered a GR4 size 8...I can only wear 1 sock. Ordered an 8.5...2 socks again. So I guess in my experience, they run true to size?

I also shared your concerns on whether or not to order a half size smaller than I usually wear.

I decided to take TW's advice and order a half size down.

When I first put the shoes on I thought I had made a mistake as they were definitely a little more snug than my GR 2's.

They actually felt more glove like though, and after wearing them awhile I really started to think I made the right decision in going down a half size.

After playing in them a few times now, I am sure I made the right decision as they are simply perfect in my mind. Very comfortable and very stable.

I play on an indoor court and usually when I'm breaking in new shoes I sometimes have the problem where the new shoes will stick and grab the court surface, not so with these shoes.

I have absolutely no complaints with these shoes or ordering a half size smaller than usual.

In the end though, everyone's feet are different so as always it's YMMV.

    Nike I'm always 8.5.
    Asics GR4 I'm 8.
So in my experience it does run large.
    Great shoe btw.

My sense of this is that they are more long than large.

Depends on what you are comparing it to.
    Me- Vapor 9 11.5, Gr 4, 11
    Yonex 308, 11, GR 4, 11
    CB 4.3, 11.5, GR 4, 11
    Barricade 7, 11.5, GR 4, 11
    Vapor 8, 11, GR 4, 11
    Fila Alfa, 11, GR 4, 11
    Head Radical Pro, 11, GR 4, 11
    Babolat Propulse 3, 11.5, GR 4, 11
    Adidas Feather 2, 11, GR 4, 11
As you can see, I wear the same size in the GR 4 as in some shoes, and 1/2 size smaller than others.

I ordered a pair 1/2 size small as recommended. They were definitely too small. I sent them back and got the Challenger 8s (which are awesome BTW).

I do not think they run big. My 4s seem slightly smaller than the 3s.

I wear a 9 in the 3, and I can wear a 9 with thicker socks in the 4 or an 8 1/2 with thinner socks. I prefer the 9 with thicker socks (Thorlo 3's)

I ordered this shoe from TW

I normally use US12 in Adidas, but with this i ordered US11 and i felt its same length as a Adidas 12 but not the same width. I only used the shoe one time because i felt it was a bit to low at the ankle.

First, thanks to all of you for your comments.

I have finally tried both size, 9.5 and 10 and the result is... none of them!

The 9.5 is long enough for my foot BUT is too narrow (my toes are touching the end of the shoe on the "exterior side", I mean, not my big toe but the others and I fear of hurting my toenails).

The 10 is definitely too long (but of course more confortable for my wide foot). Maybe this could be acceptable with 2 pairs of socks plus one more thick insole but by doing this, we are not low to the ground anymore, and we lose stability.

It is such a shame cos I really loved the previous iteration of the shoes (especially GR2 which had a little different shape IMO). GR4 seem great but I think I have to find a model a little wider.

What is the major difference between Yonex 308 and GR4? I have never worn Yonex but thinking of these to find a GR replacement.

Yonex 308 is the best shoe on the planet.

Is it a little wider than GR4?
    308 better than 307?
I have read that the new heel shape cradle can be not very confortable.
