    Martina Hingis and Justine Henin?

It's good to hear that Kim Clijsters is making a comeback
but what about Anastasia Myskina, another Grand Slam champion
so many good players have left the WTA and it's in a bad way at the moment.

I don't miss Henin. She was a great player, a bit overrated since her retirement, but she was boring, to me. She didn't move the needle in the WTA. Again, great player. But I think the people that say they don't watch since she left are oversimplifying it a bit. They probably didn't REALLY watch since Graf left, and now use Henin as an excuse for the poor WTA.

Henin's one handed backhand is more arousing than softcore pornn.

Henin was a great player. She ruled the game for more than two years
she was untouchable outside of Wimbledon.

She spanked Serena and Venus one after the other at the US Open
that takes some doing. She also beat Sharapova in the WTA championships
that was the last great final in womens Tennis.

It's funny how everyone thought that the William's sisters would leave the sport early only 5 or so years ago and yet they have outlasted everyone from around that time.
The WTA tour would be so much more interesting if hingis clijsters myskina davenport kournikova were still around

You know who I miss? Vaidisova. I know, she's still around, but it seemed like she was ready to break through and stay in the top 10 for a few yrs after the run she made at the French. But since then, she's fallen off big time. I really thought she could've challenged Serena at the top of the game. Maybe not win a lot of slams, but if Safina and Jankovic made #1, she could've definetly been #1 if she stayed on the pace she was a few yrs ago. Hopefully she finds her game and makes it back, she's got a good personality and a good baseline game. Since she choked that match vs Ivanovic at Wimbledon, she hasn't been the same. Unfortunate, really.

I really miss Capriati. Even though a lot of people don't/didn't like her, I thought that she was one of the first real "power" players in the WTA early in the decade (alongside Venus&Serena, Davenport, Clijsters, etc.)

    No :)

Yeah it's a real shame those names, styles and personalities left the sport.

She was hot. Remember the US Open Semi she lost against Henin
that was a really good match and she played very well that day even in a lossing effort.

Really ? i remember when she played Ivanovic at Wimbledon
it was a big match because those two where the big young names on the way up
Vaidisova was clearly the better player in that match.

i think she was something like 5-1 or 5-2 up in the third and even had match points
but Ana's good at coming back (as we see today) and she was tougher than Nicole when it mattered most.

Yesss it's tough to forget that match, unfortunately :/ wasn't that the one where Cap was up a set and like 4-2 and then lost in three?
And wasn't that the same U.S. Open where she beat Screaming Williams in the quarter and there was that one bad (more like HORRIBLE) call that they missed? And Serena was pissed (understandably).

    Yeah that's the one :)
even after playing tough matches against Serena and Capriati,
Henin still had enough to blow Clijsters away in the final.

Yes I miss them, especially Henin. They were gifted players and not just baseline bashers. I hate the fact that almost EVERY girl out there just hits a serve, and then bashes the ball from the baseline with twohander and forehand, no slice, no dropshots, no net game, no nothing.

I def miss hingis, it was good to see some creativity and consistancy. It was a bit depressing later in her career when she'd make the quarters at every event and then get hit off the court or cringing when her 65mph second serves got munched everytime.
