Do you think that this Luxilon Alu Power is fake?

Obviously it sounds like you purchased that string from an unreliable source... bad practice.
One thing you can do if you have 2 racquets or more is purchase one set of the lux.from TW ,string that set, and also string up a second racquet right after that one with the string that you now have, wait a day, take both racquets out and compare how they hit, sound and feel. You should know if one string is not like the other.
This is assuming that you can string a consistant job stringing racquets. That distinction separates a stringer from a craftsman.

Looks good to me.

Problem is, the Chinese are very adept at copying everything down to the stenciling on the string.

As jim said, there's only one real way of finding out for sure. If you don't want to chance learning it's fake, just play with it. If you like it, great.

Send a two to four foot sample to the string manufacturer and have them tell you either way. Not knocking you but I seem to see a lot of "is this fake" in racquets, strings and even clothing. STOP buying from just anyone and either buy from a true tennis store or send it to the REAL manufacturer and find out. If it is fake I'm sure they will want to know where you got it from so they can go after the real criminal here. They may even reward you with some REAL strings from them. Cheap is never the way to buy anything. It costs you more in the long run, IMHO.

Question is, who exactly is everybody that you refer to Parker? They may not even be tennis players and bogus reviews. Strings from China sent direct are most likely fake and if you desire quality strings then, as said, buy from a reputable dealer like TW.Fake products on the internet can be had with just about any product.I'm sure that the manuf.knows of the fakes, and will not even want to bother with any samples you want to send to them, as they have more important things to do than to deal with fake strings being sent their way.
Problem with fake strings is it should effect your game,as you will always be thinking about it, and it is no good for your customers as that reflects back on you. If it is fake, its a worthless reel, and $ wasted.
Old saying still is valid. You get what you pay for.
