btw for anyone wondering in case you dont know QC = quality control...

So, if a company is known to have horrible quality control (i.e. wilson, or one of the other "big" brands), does that affect the likelihood of you purchasing their rackets?

For me, I'm looking for a new racket between now and spring, but because i dont have many demo options i have to take info from here and then basically take a big risk OR buy a used frame.

Regardless, a company's quality control affects me a lot. For example, because of wilson's horrendous quality control, i do NOT plan on ever using another wilson racket. This may seem really stupid, but to me, if a company does not take the effort to at least make sure they're rackets are as close to the actual specs as possible... then why should i contribute to their profit and advocate their brand? It's cheating the customer. And obviously they dont do this to their pro's, so why can't we regular consumers at least get what we pay for?

Btw, if you're wondering why not just get your frames matched by a racket pro, well thats always an option but you're still supporting that brand, and personally i wouldnt want to. I mean, if Fischer can keep strict quality control and guarantee all of their rackets to be the desired spec, then why cant other companies do the same? The simple answer... they dont care.

So, how does this affect everyone here as consumers?
