PT57, TGK's ?
I mean uncustomized, without any lead at hoop.
Without strings, CAP grommets and grip, but with pallet, my PT57A swung @ 239.
And do you know how much lead and at what distance from the buttcap do you have lead in your PT57 for SW: 349?
I added 12 g / 0.42 oz of lead at the 9 - 10 and 2 - 3 positions. I never measured the exact distance from the buttcap, though.
TGK238.1 no lead, strung with multifilament 17 and with silicone injected was very low - 308. I know you asked about completely uncustomized. I hope this helps...
So it looks that uncustomized frame is about 325 SW
I was expecting higher SW, otherwise I don't understand how Head pros can obtain very high swingweights together with low balance and not very heavy overall weight, especially if they add weight not to very end of the handle, but silicone is spreaded more to top of the handle ( because it is injected only to one half of the handle).
You are welcome. I was in pro shop and the MRT was customizing 2 racquets for one top 50 and one top 150 player. One of them plays with Head TGK238.4 and his specs are: SW307 UNstrung (330g) + polys = SW337. As you may see polys add 30 SW points!
Interesting info about the swingweight that poly adds.
Has anyone compared the swing weight of a full poly setup against a hybrid setup? How much was the difference in swing weight?
