Andy Roddick will not be number 2 after 2007. The truth is, Rafa is going to get a Gamma Big Bubba and own Fed. Then, Fed will be number 2. Unfortunately for Roddick, he will still be at number 3.

    Irrelevant post.

To answer the OP's question: Plenty of TW posters still use the old pro-staffs.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with older racquets, and nothing better about new racquets (well maybe there is a bit), it just matters which one you play better with.

Since being labeled 'Classic', that frame has truly become one. The newer generations in the 6.1 family haven't been able to replace those racquets by a long shot and I doubt I'll ever feel more confident in a doubles match with anything else.

I found the frame a bit stiff for my shoulder's liking. But it hits true. No doubt.

Racquets aren't necessarily getting better, just easier to purchase.

I actually was just blasting away with a Classic tonight. I just switched, too, from a LM Prestige, and I couldn't be happier.

I also think that it's actually been better for my elbow than the Prestige, but different strokes for different folks, ya know?
