Does Federer Really put string savers before he plays?

    Does Federer Really put string savers before he plays?

    If so how much?

    he puts them either in a zigzag or an x...they are the babolat elastocross. if you do a search, you should be able to find a pic of his pattern.

    Yeah I thought he had white savers so wilson, babolat are red!?!

    Yeah Fed does put string savers in before he plays. I do also and they help a lot. I found they extend my string life by a coulple of days sometimes a week or so.

    I don't think Fed is concerned with how long his strings will last because he has a whole bag full of the same racquets sitting right there by the court. Rather, I suggest that Federer puts them in because they add more SPIN to the ball.

    I could not find a picture that showed that.

    All I found were pictures that showed string savers on the 4th,5th and 6th

    cross. (counting down from the top of the racquet head)
