Does gamma progression ST II have table lock

    im gonna get one already, and i have to string o3s and i was wondering if it has somthing similar to a table lock. or am i gonna have to get a boomerang tool.

    i don't think it has a lock. I have the progression es and it does not. The tables are the same on them....so you will need a bomerang or use your hip to hold the table still while you tension.

    Sorry but i'm going to have to GONG this answer. the Gamma Progression ST & STII both have brakes. it is a wing knob (x shape) under the turntable on the left hand side. you can see it in this post ST Brake Knob It is our more basic design, there is a brass tip that presses against the turntable pin, our higher end machines have a brake pad that work a little better. I've only strung one prince o3 on a 5800 so i don't have input on how well it worked.

    it is true that the ES & EsII don't have a turntable brake.

    table lock

    I have an ST II with stand and wise head and the table lock works fine with all princes. I have string plenty and had no problems locking out for the power holes.
