Does it hurt the frame to string under its tension range?

Was thinking of going a couple of pounds below...didn't think this would hurt anything but wanted to check to be sure. Thanks.

The more you lower the string tension the better it is for the frame and your body. If you could play with 50 lbs then your racket would have minimal frame stressing and I bet your arm would not being as tired after playing. Most player can not find enough control when stringing in the low tension ranges. It takes more touch and feel and flatter stroking but once you get used to this combination it can be very addictive  PS : I also think the strings last longer when strung at lower tensions

A couple of lbs. below shouldn't hurt anything for the reasons Joe stated. However, if you go too low the strings are so loose they are almost like a butter fly net and the racquet isn't really playable any more. As I understand it, anthing below 40-45 lbs. is too low.
