does my rating seem accurate for my results?

    I started playing tennis in 2004 with zero experience and rated a 2.5..
    here are my results in only matches that affect my rating..
    2004
    local
    games for 14 games against 20 winning percentage of games played 41
    state
    DNP
    result bumped to 3.0 for losing more games than i won
    2005 (3.0)
    local
    29/29 50 percent
    state
    DNP
    result remained a 3.0
    2006 (3.0)
    local
    26/16 62 percent
    state
    DNP
    result bumped to 3.5
    2007 (3.5)
    local
    29/42 41 percent
    state
    14/20 41 percent
    overall
    43/62 41 percent
    result stayed at 3.5
    2008 (3.5)
    local
    46-91 34 percent
    state DNP
    result stayed a 3.5
    2009 (3.5)
    local
    74-77 49percent
    state
    21-30 41 percent
    overall
    95-107 47 percent
    result bumped to 4.0
    2010 (4.0)
    local
    will win about 30 percent of my games

    i'm not whining i was just wondering if the bump up each year seems justified or not..

    We have no idea who you even played so there is no way to know.

    But probably is considering a bunch of other people got bumped as well.

    Also unless you're talking about early start leagues, if you can win 30% of your games at 4.0, then certainly you cant expect that you shouldnt be at 4.0 necessarily. (especially if you mean MATCHES and not games)
