I got a pack of Pro Red Code 16 and I want to use it for 2 sets of mains. The racquets are Dunlop AG200 and MW 200G, which are very similar and have 18 x 20 string patterns, 95 sq" headsize. Klipper's chart for Dunlops says the AG200 uses 20 feet for the mains, but do I need to use more to make sure I'll have enough slack for tying off? Or will the Pro Red Code stretch enough?

    Thank you
    MW

A set of strings won't be enough for two mains in the AG200.

How much extra length (in addition to 20 ft.) should I use for the AG200?

I tend to use 6,50m for mains and 5,50m for crosses.

    MW,

The USRSA stringers guide states that the AG200 requires 20'x18' and the MW 200G requires 19'x17', this includes the string to pull and tie off.

Does the USRSA guide base these lengths on syn gut, multi, poly, or nat gut? Or do these numbers apply to all string materials?

    Well...........

No, this is just a collection of the stringing instructions from each manufacturer, for every racquet ever made. Lots of books :D

This is where a strarting clamp comes in handy. I think every stringer should have one

I just strung my AG200 and used 21 ft. of Pro Red Code, for the mains. I wound up with 12" to tie off with on one side and 13" on the other. The stuff doesn't stretch much at all. Luckily I have a 90 sq" 16x19 racquet to use the other half on in the future.
