I have a BLX blade team and a Kblade team... both have "power holes" in the middle of the crosses. Other than being a pain in the butt to string through...do these holes have any impact of the way the racket plays

The larger grommets are suppose to enlarge the sweetspot. Prince had something similar before they went with their ports. They do appear to work as the SBS is a little lower compared to the same racquet w/o the 'power holes.' What I lost was feeling whether I hit the ball cleanly.

It may be all mental but to me they feel like they add a bit of plushness (probably not a word) at impact.

They were inspired by "speed holes" from The Simpsons.

They add "whizz" -- that's certain.
