I'll say there'll be at least 1, if not 2, 3 is possible anyway. And I'll be seriously disappointed if there isn't any. Might feel sorry for Donald though.:?

Federer is not necessary the guy to bagel guys left and right in the first couple of rounds of a slam.Certainly he will win the match but more like a 6-3 6-2 6-2 scoreline.Regardless of the score i doubt the match to be longer then 90 minutes

I think so too. Fed will prob break him just once every set, maybe twice if Donald is really begging for it.

Somebody who doesn't make so many errors like a Nadal is more likely to Bagel Donald, Roger goes for his shots, so there is a chance Young can win games.

    I'm thinking 6-1 6-2 6-1

So if he loses he will fall to at least world number #120?

If Federer beats Young, Young will lose 170 points.

If DY wins USO, then he will be world number 12!

Yeah, sometimes Fed can actually win the match in less time by letting a game or two go per set against a low-ranked player, then just break once and speed through his service games in a minute or two. Instead of getting into a rhythm and extending the match fighting in a bunch of deuce games, Fed just goes for his shots and it's over before they know it.

Unless they put him on very late at night, then Fed feels an urgency to head to Mirka's warm bedside and he'll bring supreme focus. Remember that late match against (now Top 10 player) Juan Monaco last year? 6-1 6-2 6-0. Donald is hoping for a day match.

Nike should let DY wear Nadal's USO gear... but bring your own tighty whiteys dude.

I heard DY's been working on the buggy whip FH in all night training sessions - this is going to be epic.

I'm sure all the single moms who 'dance' in the ATL would be thrilled - the parties would last until November. Mayweather 'making it rain' in Vegas would look like an 8 yr olds birthday party...

I think it's safe to say that this is going to be the GOAT 1R match. Definitely going to be a contender for GOAT Match. It has instant classic written all over it.

I actually would want to see this match. I'm not a fan of either, but it would be interesting how Donald will get triple bageled ..... :)

No pressure on DY but, if he wins this match he must retirre. Not just from the US Open but from the Tour. Pity the streak is broken or this is a Primetime Night Match for the Ages.

    Donald Young upset Fed.

No bagel in that match, I know fed was working on his approach and volleys, but come on, at least one 6x0 would have been nice.

Watch the match again. Fed was playing left-handed.

Federer shanked a lot of shots and made uncharacteristic double faults. Young lived off Fed's charity entirely.

The Don did better than I expected. Fed didn't look particularly great, but then I guess he didn't need to be anywhere near great to beat Young.

Young's ranking will now fall to around #116.

Donald Young now around 120 in the rankings. Whenever his points for a final at the Bangkok come off, He will be almost out of the top 200

Hopefully he'll go back to playing Challengers and Futures. That's where The Donald truly belongs.

One thing I've noticed is that he'll lose to a top 50 guy by similar scores as he'll lose to a top 200 guy. This leads me to believe that his problem is all mental. He is not being blown off the court at all - physically he has the tools to compete at the ATP level. When he figures the mental part out, he should be a fixture in the top 50.

Donald Young lost another first round match, qualifying this time, lol.

He is now 185, by the way.

Pretty sad for America's once great next hope to be ranked roughly 100 spots behind a geriatric James Blake.
