I am watching for new stock on TW and they seem in short supply. 1-(3/8), 1 - (5/8) ... no 1/2 inch grips ....

It has been this way for a while on TW and it does not seem like there is new stock coming in... This is what happened to my last Donnay stick right before it was discontinued.

So the question is ... is there a change a foot? Do I need to be worried this is going away very soon?

I've been worried about the production of the Pro one for awhile now and I've been demoing several frames including the Volkl V1 Pro, Volkl Organix 9 Super G, Babolat Pure Strike, Babolat Pure Strike Tour, and the Babolat Pure Control Tour. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything that is quite as sweet at the Pro 1, so I hope they stay in production for awhile.

The VI Pro is VERY close, as is the Dunlop Bio Max 200G and Yonex AI 98. The latter 2 have much better QC than Donnay. You will go bonkers trying to find a P1 if you are picky about specs or getting 2 that are the same.

V1Pro was close, but the TF 315 Ltd with some lead tape is sweeter. Graphene Speed mp with some lead is also nice but firmer. PK QTour 295 with lead, leather grip and overgrip has me almost moving away from the P1.

Yeah! PK QTour 295 with some added weight is a really sweet stick... :)

Why do they keep doing this?

They come out with new frames so quickly that it causes me a nervous breakdown!

The pro one may be the best seller they ever had!

I think Donnay may have the world record for the most discontinued frames ever....and they are only a few years old....( at least the new donnay is ).

I still think if they want to make a huge splash all they need to do is come out with the Borg pro paint job. The donnays will be flying off the shelves.

some of their racquets are discontinued before they even go public as ive seen on auction site. i emailed donnay once if they would make a borg racquet and they never answered me. my thinking is im sure they probably looked into it but maybe the borg rights were too expensive? if they could they should have done agassi colors as well

They should just give him a percentage . I think it would do really well .

I agree about the Agassi stick
