Today I received a Donnay GTX 50 racquet.

    16 x 19 pattern

    Braided construction and Graphite Kevlar.

My question is does anyone have the stringing info on this racquet.
And the butt cap is missing but it does have a hole and looks like something would screw into the bottom.

Any idea what this is for?

    Thanks for any response.

    Here you go:

    Recommended tension: 25-29
    1 or 2 pieces: 1

    skip holes : T-7-9/H-7-9
    First cross : H-7

Donnay had some models where you could screw butt caps with weights in the handle...

    Ericsson,

Thank you for the quick reply. Really helpful! Collection just keeps growing. Well over 200 racquets now.

I usally put new string in and take it out to play.

Have any idea what approx year this racquet was issued in?

    Thank you.

    According to Kuebler, 1986.

Yes 1986 is correct, there were two Donnay GTX at that time, the GTX 25 and the GTX 50, the number stands for the bigger headsize, the 50 is quite rare...
