Mixed: Roddick and Serena Williams
Mens: Berdych and Nadal
Women's: Sharapova and Serena Williams
Nadal and Federer.
sampras and Mcenroe
haha just what i was thinking too
also justine and sharapova
Steffi Graf and Roger Federer, would be like seeing two dancers on the court.
ivo karlovic and olivier rochus
Ivanovic and Kirilenko
Henin and Mauresmo.
Federer and Sampras.
And I'll agree with gj011, Ivanovic and Kirilenko. (Although the thought of hearing cheesy "come-ons" with the idenitcal close-to-body fist pump might become a little much after a while.)
If it was possible
Mens : Goran Ivanisevic and Nickolay Davydenko
Mens : Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer
Mens : Marat Safin and Mikhail Youzhny (Davis Cup, now that would be some serious erm headcase stuff lol)
Womans : Henin and Jankovic
Womans : Jankovic and Ivanovic
The only person who has footwork nearly as beautiful as Steffi Graf.
Actually, what I'd like to see is Graf/Sampras vs Henin/Federer
Mixed Doubles: Graf and Agassi
Not that it was on the tour, but they have played together in an exhibition versus Henin and Ivanisevic.
and andre gave her a broken nose
Nadal and Borg on clay.
Federer and Sampras on grass.
how about nadal and djokovic? Maybe nalbandian and federer?
I'd be willing to bet the guys in each of those pairs aren't exactly fond of each other
Isner and Karlovic! that would be interesting.
Would love to see McEnroe and Navratilova come out for a few tournaments and teach the young whipper-snappers a thing or two. Like, maybe the Queens Club or Wimbledon?
Current players...would love to see Bhupathi and Paes back together again.
My apologies if these players have teamed up before (I don't pay very much attention to the doubles league). I would like to see Federer and Sharapova, Federer and Roddick, Serena and Sharapova, and Djokovic and Nalbandian.
That has my vote too, but others, would like to see Miryni and Zimonjic play in men's. Serena and Justine in women's. And Connors and McEnroe in senior tour.
Federer and *insert amazing doubles specialist here*
I don't care if it's Knowles, Nestor, Bhupathi (sp?), one of the Bryans, etc.
ivanovic kirilenko reunion
Rios & McEnroe
I don't know how they get along but Nadal has been playing a lot of doubles and Djokovic is doing well at the MC. Also, doesn't Federer have something like 10 doubles titles? He has just been too important to play doubles but maybe he will be a bit more humble due to his play this year (so far).
I'd like to see Sampras and Nadal.
Federer + Hingis - two swiss geniuses
Federer + McEnroe - too much talent!!
I'm thinking this will be a very well behaved, spectator friendly team
Federer and Hingis have played mixed doubles before; they did so to great effect, winning the Hopman Cup in 2001.
I'd like to see: Karlovic/Venus Williams vs Rochus/Henin.
Yeah I watched that match. It was so funny to see a "kid" Federer.
I would have loved to see Safin and Kuerten team up, but that is unlikely at this point.
Sampras and Roddick.
Pete: "No, no, no, Andy. Semi-western is for the forehand, not for the volley."
That gives me an idea. Federer/Sampras vs. Nadal/Borg. 'Xept we're playing on half grass-half clay like Fed-Rafa did in '07.
Kuerten - Rafa?
Federer - Woods vs. Roddick - Bryant.
they did that at the australian this year. they lost second round
yea, imagine if all they did was play net...try getting a ball past them
this cat doesnt understand the humor
Men: Gasquet/Youzhny, Federer/Tursunov.
Women: Henin/Mauresmo, Henin/Graf.
Mixed: Federer/Henin, O. Rochus/Henin.
Lindsay Davenport/Venus Williams
Johnny Mac/Pete Sampras * No!!!, I never saw that DC 5 set match  *
Mens: Nadal / Nalbandian or Federer / Djokovic
Womens: Sharapova / Ivanovic
Mixed: Federer / Henin
How many racquets could they break?
Sampras - Henman
Instant GS doubles title.
Safin/Ivanisevic. 2 big hitters having tantrums on the court.
Injury replacement...Rios, who would create the same dynamic
how about nadal/roddick team up. two completely different styles of play...one actually works.
