Steffi Graf and Roger Federer, would be like seeing two dancers on the court.

    Henin and Mauresmo.

    Federer and Sampras.

And I'll agree with gj011, Ivanovic and Kirilenko. :D (Although the thought of hearing cheesy "come-ons" with the idenitcal close-to-body fist pump might become a little much after a while.)

Not that it was on the tour, but they have played together in an exhibition versus Henin and Ivanisevic.

Would love to see McEnroe and Navratilova come out for a few tournaments and teach the young whipper-snappers a thing or two. Like, maybe the Queens Club or Wimbledon?

Current players...would love to see Bhupathi and Paes back together again.

My apologies if these players have teamed up before (I don't pay very much attention to the doubles league). I would like to see Federer and Sharapova, Federer and Roddick, Serena and Sharapova, and Djokovic and Nalbandian.

That has my vote too, but others, would like to see Miryni and Zimonjic play in men's. Serena and Justine in women's. And Connors and McEnroe in senior tour.

Federer and *insert amazing doubles specialist here*

I don't care if it's Knowles, Nestor, Bhupathi (sp?), one of the Bryans, etc.

I don't know how they get along but Nadal has been playing a lot of doubles and Djokovic is doing well at the MC. Also, doesn't Federer have something like 10 doubles titles? He has just been too important to play doubles but maybe he will be a bit more humble due to his play this year (so far).

Federer + Hingis - two swiss geniuses
Federer + McEnroe - too much talent!!

I'm thinking this will be a very well behaved, spectator friendly team :D

Federer and Hingis have played mixed doubles before; they did so to great effect, winning the Hopman Cup in 2001.

I'd like to see: Karlovic/Venus Williams vs Rochus/Henin.

    :)

I would have loved to see Safin and Kuerten team up, but that is unlikely at this point.

That gives me an idea. Federer/Sampras vs. Nadal/Borg. 'Xept we're playing on half grass-half clay like Fed-Rafa did in '07.

    Kuerten - Rafa?

Federer - Woods vs. Roddick - Bryant.

Safin/Ivanisevic. 2 big hitters having tantrums on the court.

Injury replacement...Rios, who would create the same dynamic
