Nope. ESPN (2) limits itself to ATP Masters Series and majors, as far as I know.

And they don't show the clay masters events, or the fall masters events.

Dish Network recently picked up the tennis channel. It is great! If I had a choice, I would drop ESPN; there coverage of tennis is very poor.
My gripe with ESPN is the take up real-estate showing yesterdays street ball results on the bottom of you screen, plus the announcing is very bias, and match selection is poor.
Hope soon the TC will take over some grand slam events, as ESPN claims they are losing money carrying them.

but TTC is still hard to get in many areas...

i don't know who is running TTC but i have a feeling they are very demanding of cable/satelite providers, who just snub at them...DishNetwork just picked it up but who knows what will happen after the trial "test" period, my guess is they might charge for it...it's hard to get any info from TTC...their website does not give too much info as well...

Not sure of the cost. Don't think it is an extra 50 a month. I got the Top180 mostly for the Discovery channels and OLN for the bicycle races in Europe. Dish has dropped OLN, and I was debating switching to DirectTV, but then Dish got TTC.

I've enjoyed the coverage of the tournaments on TTC. Except, they need to work on their timing a little bit. They always seem to come back from a commercial break after the first point of two of a new game has already been played. And, that bimbo special interest dame. She's gotta go. How can somebody that stupid even be able to talk and stand up at the same time?

Guess I'm a pig, but I like the bimbo. Sports & hot chicks go well together. See NFL cheerleaders, ringcard girls, etc.

I pay $5 extra per month for the package which includes TTC, ESPN classic, ESPN news, FOX sports net for tons of soccer, OLN, and about 10 other channel I don't even know what they are. Seems worth it to me.

Right, it's not extra 50 dollars, i meant the overall price is 50 dollars for the package of 180 channels, at least here in MD
Also I wish they would put the Tennis Channel in the sports package, which is only 6 dollars a month extra you know, but.....i kind of knew that wasn't going to happen.

Yah So far I've been happy with TTC, cause at least I get to see SOME tennis and other tennis related things, but they need to improve a lot!!!
they keep on showing paddle tennis all of a sudden between points hmm

i wished they were carrying dubai final, but at least i can watch it on the internet!

Well . . . TTC spent way too much time with her interviewing the mayor of Las Vegas, not once, but several times while a decent dubs match was in progress. Who really cares how the mayor plays air hockey? Save that stuff for after the match while there is a twenty-minute break before the next match starts.

The commentators were getting it right pretty much. More than once, they would point out that Bjorkman has a weaker forehand return and that his backhand return is a stronger weapon. Then, immediately following, the opposition would serve to Jonas' forehand and he would flub the return. Good call!

Good match. Who were those guys that took Jonas and Max to the cleaners?

The same team that Mac/Bjorkman beat in San Jose! Wonder if Max is getting nervous...

Those guys did pretty good. I thought Max played a better match than Jonas. It seems like Bjorkman had trouble holding his serve and you just had the feeling that when Max served, it was an automatic hold, no problem. Of course, at the end, that fell apart.

All in all, it was a pretty sloppy match. The night before, when the Bryans played, it was an exciting match, even though the outcome was never in doubt. That match was followed by Max and Jonas. Don't think I was able to sit through the whole thing. It was a snoozefest compared to the earlier match.

Any word on when Mac is going to play again?

He said after the match that he'd go back to the Senior's tour where he belongs. As much as he liked winning, I don't think his intention was to put all the attention on himself, so he said he'd take a few months off. I think he might play Wimbledon.

I don't think he is. He wanted to prove he could still play & did, so no reason to continue(plus he seems to have a life outside tennis-family, commentary, senior tour, etc)
