I haven't seen the draw but does anyone see Federer not winning? How well will Nadal, Agassi & Safin do? What upsets do you guys see in the making?

Ivo Klec beats Bracciali...that surpised me. I picked Henman over Lopez. I like Federer & Nadal in the final.

Nice to see Rainer Schuettler winning again - he took out David Ferrer in three.

Schuettler is now 2-0 against Ferrer. That doesn't surprise me.

Federer will at least get to the finals. I don't think Safin is ready yet to be winning a tough tournament. Nadal and Agassi are in the other half and I expect them to meet...hard to pick a winner there since their last match was so close, but I'll be rooting for Agassi. If Nadal wins, Federer could be in trouble because it would mean that Nadal has gotten his mojo back.

I'll be rooting for AA too. Looks like his draw is not to bad for advancing to semi finals probably to play Nadal. Since they've both been out and it a hard court, i think AA may have a chance to get schooled by Fed in a final again.

I can't see Safin taking out his countryman, Davydenko. I expect Agassi & Nadal in the semis as well.

Can you see it now? Agassi-Nadal would be a very good semi. So would Fed-Safin. If Safin makes it to the Semis, he'll get a few matches under his belt and may give Roger a tough match even though he'll probably take a loss.

That would be awesome and a big test for Fed.I think Safin showed he is back today.I hope for a Fed vs Nadal final, thats what i want.I am a Fed fan, if he loses, i hope its Safin vs Agassi or Nadal.

I'm still in shock about Safin. He says he was even surprised he won. Federer, Safin, Nadal & Agassi all in the semi's would be too good to be true but it may just happen.

Nadal gets a walkover so he only needs to win one more match to be in semis. Federer will have an easy 2nd round opponent. Safin should be able to handle The Roach since he was able to handle similar yet superior Davydenko. Agassi has easy draw so it is only up to his body if he can make it to the semis.

I am liking this tournament so far. Very nice draw. High caliber players all around. It looks better than some Masters we had last year.

  14. Marat and Rafa are my favorite players, and I hate Federer, cuz he said Guga had 'luck' against him, and that game didn't mean anything to him... unebelieveable! i guess that's an answer to your question, lol.

Nadal/Henman is an interesting match-up. I've never seen Nadal play a serve and volleyer before. Nadal's known for being able to hit winners from nowhere, but you can't hit a winner off of a drop volley. I want to see a Federer/Nadal final but this could be Henman's biggest win in a LONG time.

Stop making unsubstantiated claims, he didn't say anything like that in the French Open '04 presscon. Loser.

Who do you like in the finals "Moose Malloy"? I've got $500.00 each on Federer & Nadal to win in straight sets.

P.S. Send me your email address so we can discuss picks.

When he gets on a roll Schuettler has a history of upsetting higher-ranked players before crashing out in the final: Aus Open 2003 and TMS Monte-Carlo 2004. He and Nadal have split two matches - last year's match in Miami was tight, Nadal winning 6 and 4. COULD be, I emphasize could, an interesting match if Rainer brings it.

Still, safe money on a Fed-Rafa final.

Federer & Nadal win in straight sets. I love being right...only thing better is getting paid when I am.
