I think what happens is that once you get used to hitting with bigger racquets, you become lazy - your strokes, your footwork, etc. all become lazier because the bigger racquet lets you get away with it. When you go back to a smaller racquet, it'll take some time to readjust and sharpen your strokes and footwork again to be more precise - but the rewards are well worth it! It'll make you an overall better player. :)

had a chance to hit with the racquets today.

the overall conclusion is that they play really nice.

very similar to my previous Maxply McEnroe's.

played in stock form with the free Wilson synthetic gut 16g strings.

only noticeable advantage I noticed with these racquets over my previous sticks is that I felt I had a little more velocity on my shots.

the racquets are no longer on the web-site.

looks like they have been all sold out.

congratulations to the people who picked them up at the sale price.

I played 16 games with it (ladder match). I won 9-7 against a guy I should have beaten more soundly.

Flat bomb serves were awesome. My normal kick serve was lacking spin, but had plenty of pace.

Forehand was off. Crosscourt was pretty good, DTL was off big time.

Backhand was non-existent. Produced short sitters much of the time. Slice was working, though.

    Volleys were awesome.

Overall, kinda meh. Not enough spin. I will restring and try again. I didn't add any lead, but I am very skeptical.
