been using this racquet since 2006.

last month i tried the dunlop aerogel 4d 100 for a month and it just didn't work so i went back to the maxply's.

    anyone still use this racquet?

    thanks

I purchased a few and enjoyed playing them for awhile.
Great control rackets and the retro woody look is very cool.
Also nice rackets to play if your hurting from the modern baseline blasters.
Still have a few in NOS condition.
    Take a look:

I've got about 4 of them too. I noticed the two different dunlop logo's on the side, I have them with the old school Dunlop logo and the modern one. Does this have to do with where they were sold or a more modern batch?

Hannah, has any of your friends or family try to initiate an intervention for your extensive collection of racquets?

Well, I'm currently moving all of them to our new house and due to lack of space I have to downsize the collection. I'm currently selling on the bay and considering donating some of the less collectable stuff, such as Pro Kennex Destiny models, to the Richard Krajicek Foundation here in the Netherlands.

    Hi guys
Recently i’ve got an old Dunlop McEnroe Comp (carbon/graphite composite) 16x19
    I haven’t any specs.
Its hard to find grommets for this raquet. The grommets crushed after several shots, so i have to change them Can somebody advise me where i can get them,
may be some modern grommets can be use.
    Thanks in advance

there are a lot of replacement grommets that you can use by dunlop since the 98 square inch head / 16 x 19 string pattern is very popular.

you can order from tennis warehouse, grommets for the biomimetic max 200g, the hotmelt 300g or even the biomimetic 300.

Speaking of grommets, do any other models fit the Maxply McEnroe? I recently picked up a second one, planning to stick with them for a few years, I like the feel and they're easy to string!

I figured I'd pick up a set or 2 of grommets to be ready for future problems, but an online search gave me no joy.

tennis warehouse sells the biomimetic max 200g and the hotmelt 300 grommets so there is no reason to look for others.

inventory is they have 6+ for both of those and they will definitely fit.

when i had these racquets, i always use to buy the hotmelt 300 grommets.

the 300 mode is very popular so these grommets should be around for a long time.
