I'm thinking of putting one of these two strings in the mains of my Dunlop AeroGel 4D 300 but am concerned about the durability since I'm used to using a 1.24mm string.

Can anyone comment on the durability of the WC Mosquito Bite 1.16mm or the MSV Focus Hex 1.18mm stings?

    Thanks.

I would think mosquito bite is better.

My experience with MSV Focus Hex is limited. Have only used 1 set of 1.10 mm. A half set snapped on the machine and the other set, I strung with in a hybrid with gut. After 2 hitting sessions, I had to cut it out because performance dropped too much.

Mosquito Bite 1.16 mm never snapped on me, and its playability lasts for 5-6 hitting sessions.

The MSV will notch into itself and lose tension very quickly. The MB will not. It's great stuff.

I've been using MB in my 4D 300s for a couple of months now, notches pretty quickly but good durability for the gauge. I prefer it to Focus Hex although I have tried both in hybrids with gosen crosses and liked the FH better, the MB just didn't work for me as a hybrid for some reason.
