Duralast pros and cons

Discussion in 'Strings' started by Vitaly Evchenkov, Apr 14, 2008.

  1. I recently strung up an Aeropro w/ Duralast 15L @60lbs on a crank machine.
I played with it 4 times.
The first 2 times, I played like an ATP pro... just awesome.
    3rd time, played ok.
4th time, played horrible... like a beginner.

I have never experienced a string go bad that quick.
I restung it again w/ Duralast, to test if I play great again when
    it is fresh.
If so, I am either going to have to restring every 2 hours, or find a similar string that doesn't go dead so quickly.

But the spin I was getting at first was just incredible.... was amazed.
My next playtest should decide whether it was the string that went bad... or if I really am that inconsistent. (please be the string!)
