( Not an experienced stringer ) Is there any way to fix a loose clamps on this?
There is a video of it on YouTube. But basically there is an access hole that you use a 3mm allen (hex) key. You'll need to line up the access hole in the Cone. It's easier to see if the disc cap is off. Like in the picture below.
The Allen key will turn an angled piston that pushes the cone to lock the clamp. Tightening the bolt and slot nut, may help, but it's a very coarse adjustment. The Allen key is a finer adjustment.
Thanks Lakers4Life! Will be working on it by Sunday i hope.
with clamp still mounted, turn it toward the middle of the table so the hole/plug faces 90 degrees toward the edge of table to access the fine adjustment screw.
Eventually you will want to replace the base clamps, because you will be constantly be adjusting your current base clamps. Pro's Pro came out with a Base Clamp similar to the Prince BCs, but they are sold out. The currently available BC is the V2, but it's more like the Gamma Quick Action BC (not the Switch Action Cam-Lock).
