Yeah! Tennis Channel HD should replay more classic matches of Edberg, Lendl, Beckers, Wilanders, and other 80s and 90s. They are real classic.

why not make all these past matches legally available on DVD or for an iTunes like official download? $20 per match any match.

TTC has been running some classic matches. I saw Edberg-Becker Davis cup. It actually was kind of boring since both players were basically S&V almost every point. There were so few rallies.

Love the s&v on match point. Also it reminds me how much I once liked Ellesse!

I loved Ellesse in the 80s. Chris Evert wore it, and I always liked the logo. Also loved Sergio Tacchini. You don't see those two names much anymore.

That was fun. Great stuff. Edberg really didn't play bad at all.

This match was played under some pretty crazy conditions(extreme wind, lighting, & thunder in the background)
Ted Robinson still makes references to it during the USO coverage on USA.

After this match(& his losses in '89 & '90) you could have gotten good odds on Edberg never winning the USO, it really didn't seem to suit him.
