Even Roddick Using A Paintjob!?!?!?!?

    Hey everyone, i saw on e b a y a racquet that is claimed to be roddicks exact racquet. the cortex in paintjobbed on. it isnt even on there, its just paint. search "cortex paint" and youll see it. tell me what you think.

    its true, Roddick uses the old (woofer) Pure Drive + with lead

    It's been discussed before here, but from what I have seen and read Babolat says something to the effect that the racket is to Roddick's specification and not this is the racket Roddick uses, ie it's heavier then the normal Pure Drive. It's also been dicussed ad nauseum that the pros are able to get non-woofer grommets that are not available to the public.

    Don't know, but I was looking at some of his other sales and he lists several with paint jobs. Edberg's rackets went for almost $400...

    Why would it still have the plastic on the grip

    In the recent tennis mag. Roddick stated that he uses the exact same racquet (with just a little more lead) he did from the time he started playing with Babolat, which means he used the first generation Pure drive, the racquet above would have been a paint job too!!!
