Oh yeah, and also. How many serious tennis players do you think actually smoke in the first place?

It's all in the head.... simple minds are the ones who can't do it. And I know a 5.0 player who is a heavy smoker. I also read a book by Bill Tilden and he said in it that use of tobacco tends to do less harm to your wind and more to your eyesight (I don't really understand that but it is what he said in his book). Now, I am not condoning smoking and playing tennis, just merely pointing out that I knew a serious player that smokes. If you don't think a 5.0 player is serious.... well that's your opinion

And, really, isn't there a better place for you to be advertising??? :(

Yeah, im sure there are some players who can do it, but there are also some people who smoke a pack a day and live to be 90...want to try your luck?

This guy is soliciting. Tennis plyers don't smoke. Those who do aren't going to buy some fake smoking sig. That is hilarious!! Good luck though on your product.

Yeah I have been thinking about cutting down on my cigs on changeovers. Some players get upset and tell me I am going over the time limit. I say- STFU I am having smoke. I raise my racquet up like I am going to bop them over the head and usually they back off. Sometimes if I need it bad enough I will play with a cig hanging out of my mouth so I can get a few puffs in.

The downside is that I always seem to get short of breath when the third comes around. It's good thing I switched to the Gamma Big Bubba so I can just stick my racquet out and the ball will go back. I may go to the tour version though because I want to look like I am a playah.

hey does your product work for weed too?

    Superior,

Like I said in my earlier post, I KNOW a player who smokes... and that I also DO NOT condone playing tennis and smoking.... My post wasn't an argument with yours at all, so no need to ask me to test luck or anything.

True Story: My friend (also a tennis player) recently turned 18. To celebrate he went out and bought a very cheap cigar. He decides to start smoking it shortly before we arrive at the outdoor courts in our neighborhood for a doubles match with some other friends. So, to prove that he's cool, he decides to play WHILE SMOKING the cigar. He was alright for a couple points and then during a long rally he took a big sweeping cut of a forehand and ended up burning his bicep on the cigar during the follow through! It was hilarious and I'm glad I was there to see it. But let that be a lesson to everyone- -while smoking on the court may seem cool, sooner or later you'll get burned.

Those of you who smoke while playing should also try to take a few shots on the change over. Water is so over rated and you will play alot less tentative and go for your shots.........idiots!

I've been playing doubles before and suddenly smelled smoke...look over and the net man for the other team is standing there with a cigarette in his left hand, right underneath the racquet. Weird watching a guy with a cigarette in his mouth volleying like a madman....

    Superior,

Sorry about it all then. I don't usually get defensive, but lately on TW forums there seems to be alot of people just looking to flame anything they see.... And on top of that, they follow you through every other post you make like stalkers trying to comment on anything else you said(or at least it seems that way...). But this is just forums and nothing more than a place to get info for me and maybe a little good, clean conversations about things. So no harm done man. :D
